If you are seeking to upload material to this site or to engage in any activities within the site other than passively viewing site content, you must register and become a site member. ABILITY TO ACCEPT TERMS OF SERVICE
You affirm that you are either more than 17 years of age or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations and warranties set forth in these Terms of Use, and to abide by and comply with these Terms of Use.
You must be 17 years or over or possess legal parental or guardian consent to register as a member of this website. If we discover or have any reason to suspect that you have not reached 17 years of age or that you do not have legal parental or guardian consent, then we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your membership to this site immediately and without notice. ??Children and young people under 17 are entitled to access this site to view its content but are not presently able to register as members and actively participate – i.e., upload content. Certain parts of the site (e.g., those containing films with adult language and/or content) may be unsuitable for younger viewers. At this time, Multitude.tv will not be providing ratings for videos uploaded to the site.
PASSWORD, SCREEN NAME AND SECURITY
When you register as a member of multitude.tv, you will be asked to select a Screen Name and we will provide you with a Password which you are then free to change to your own original Password. Your Screen Name and Password allow you to access your account and, as we continue to enhance the site, log on to areas of the site that are reserved for members only. You accept that it is your sole responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your Password and Screen Name and that you are responsible for all activity that occurs under them. Multitude.tv is unable to check the identity of people using the site and will not in any way be liable where either your Password or Screen Name are used by someone else. You agree to notify Multitude.tv immediately of any unauthorized use of your Password or Screen Name and any other breach of security as soon as you become aware of it.
Any private information and/or data relating to your membership to multitude.tv or your uploaded content that you are asked to supply or that you supply voluntarily as part of the registration process and as part of the upload/download process, will only be used by multitude.tv as part of the process of administering your membership.
Privacy Policy
The multitude.tv web server retains logs of all activity on the website. Normally, these logs are used purely for the purpose of compiling statistics about site usage and are deleted after 7 days. In special cases, where persistent patterns of abuse are noticed, we may decide to use the logs to identify the source of the abuse. The information in these logs is not shared with any other body and is not used for any other purposes.
The Multitude.tv web site contains links to other websites, whether controlled by multitude.tv affiliates or unrelated third parties. multitude.tv is not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of any linked website.
Currently, the multitude.tv site uses personal information as a basis for identifying the authors of published articles, and other contributed material (videos, forum participation, group memberships) and in order to allow individual user login to certain site functions (e.g. to forums and groups). Names (and additional information that a user may choose to post) are publicly available on the multitude.tv site.
All email sent to another multitude.tv user list is accessible to the receiver, including the sender's registered name and e-mail address.
Subscription-based Communicate (forum) Emails
Users may subscribe to receive site notifications, newsletters or other information via email. Users may remove themselves from such services at their discretion. Please contact multitude.tv for assistance or to be removed from the lists.
Other Notification
In order to arrange for the production of web content, print publications, and audio and video features, multitude.tv may use personal information to contact users on an individual basis or announcement.
Name, Email, Phone Number, Address Display
Users' personal information may be publicly available through published articles. Users have the option to opt out of publicly displaying their real names by typing in a pseudonym; users may choose to not disclose address or telephone contact information at all. Requests to remove personal identifying information from published articles must be sent using the contact form. All information multitude.tv collects is for site administration or to facilitate the networking of individual members. At no time do we release such information to any third party.
General
In cases where users voluntarily and publicly disclose personal information in conjunction with content published subject to the multitude.tv content usage policy, such personal information may or may not be disclosed as part of a non-commercial assemblage of multitude.tv content, whether in print, electronic, audio or video. The producers of any such compilation will make every effort to contact the original author to determine whether credit/disclosure is desired.
At no time, unless a user specifically authorizes such disclosure, will multitude.tv disclose individual user personal information that is not publicly available to unrelated third parties.
The multitude.tv email lists, hosted at lists.indymedia.org, are configured such that all text messages sent to the list, along with names and email addresses, are disclosed in the message archive. In addition, a complete list of subscribers may be available to third parties at the lists web site, although users can opt to conceal themselves from the subscriber list. Users concerned with privacy issues are encouraged to sign up for an anonymous email service.
Security
To secure site integrity, multitude.tv employs measures including but not limited to security audits, use of encryption tools and software, and other reasonable security measures and procedures. Internal access to web server access logs and any non-public user information is restricted to site administrators and individuals on a need-to-know basis.
Enforcement
In the event that multitude.tv becomes aware that site security is compromised or non-public user information has been disclosed to unrelated third parties as a result of external activity, including but not limited to law enforcement activities or external security attacks, multitude.tv shall take reasonable measures which it deems appropriate, including internal investigation and, if required, cooperation with our web host.
If multitude.tv becomes aware that a user's personal information provided to multitude.tv has been disclosed in a manner not permitted by this Privacy Policy, multitude.tv shall make reasonable efforts to notify the affected user, as soon as reasonably possible, of what information has been disclosed, to the extent that multitude.tv knows this information.

HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to hold harmless and indemnify multitude.tv, its employees, agents and representatives, from and against any third party claim arising from or in any way related to your use of the multitude.tv site, including any liability or expense arising from all claims, losses, damages (actual and consequential), suits, judgments, litigation costs and attorneys fees, of every kind and nature. If multitude.tv receives notice of such a claim from someone other than the member whose use of the site is in question, multitude.tv will provide that member with written notice of such claim, suit or action, at the email address provided by that member at the time of registration.
GRANT OF LICENSE
When you upload or post content to multitude.tv, that content become public content and will be searchable by and available to anyone who visits the multitude.tv site. Multitude.tv does not claim ownership of the materials you post, upload, input or submit to the multitude.tv site. However, by posting, uploading, inputting, providing or submitting your content to multitude.tv, you are granting multitude.tv, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, transfer, transmit, distribute and publish that content for the purposes of displaying that content on multitude.tv or for any other non-commercial use of that content.

When you delete content from Multitude.tv, such deleted content, while not available to the viewing public and other Multitude.tv users, will remain on the multitude.tv server until such time as you make a specific request to multitude.tv for permanent deletion of such content from the multitude.tv server. When you do remove your content, the license described above will automatically expire.

Our goal is to promote the free-flowing exchange of expression relating to members interests, activities and hobbies while maintaining high standards of respect and decency.
