'Angola needs a rural radio to help promote development and fight famine and poverty, said Tuesday in Luanda the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) representative to Angola, Anatoli Ndong Mba.'

'Addressing the opening of the Seminar on Participative Formulation of the Rural Radio Project, Anatoli Ndong Mba, said the country is ready for the rural radio and actually needs it to fight Hiv/Aids and consolidate the emerging democracy.'

'He said that Angola's readiness to promote the setting up of the rural radio is evident in Government's wish to take development to the rural areas, through a decentralised programme.' (full article on allAfrica)
